Equipment

The integrated Raman-AFM system

It allows to perform Raman microspectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, and Raman nanospectroscopy enhanced on the AFM tip (TERS). It has equipment for in vivo cell measurements.

NanoIR2 system

In this configuration it is the second one in the World
IR microscope with nanometric spatial resolution with OPO and QCL lasers. It combines FT-IR chemical sensibility with AFM precision.

Vacuum FTIR spectrometer

It has vacuum IR microscope, bolometer, MCT and FPA detectors and allows to perform both spectra aquisition and mapping in transmition, reflection as well as ATR modes. Good for precise FT-IR mapping.

Independent fast imaging IR microscope

Good for quick and accurate macroscopy FT-IR mapping in transmition and reflection modes. It has precise motor stage and also ATR compartment

Atomic Force Microscope (AFM)

Combined with the fluorecence microscope applied for measuring live cells properties in aqueous media, suitable for all AFM-based experiments including those on living cells

Leica EM ACE600 coating system

It can be used for various purposes, eg. AFM tip coating, sample coating etc. Three sources are possible to use: silver, gold and carbon.

UV-VIS Spectrometer

Plate reader - for the use of multiple absorption, fluorescence and luminescence markers.

RT-PCR system

Reverse transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) for the real-time RNA sequence expression measurements. Used in dosimetric, and spectroscopic studies.

System for automatic analysis of chromosome aberrations

AxioImager.Z2 microscope allows to automaticly detect chromosomal aberrations and identification of chromosomes.
